Reports & Analytics

Delivery reporting per channel, balance history, and the account-wide logs that back up your billing.

2 min read

Reports is where you check whether messages actually arrived, and where every log tied to your account balance and billing lives. It's the place to look after a send, and the place to look when a number on the dashboard needs a deeper explanation.

Delivery reporting per channel

For each channel — SMS, WhatsApp, and Email — Mersal tracks delivery status per message, rolled up into:

  • Total — how many messages were sent through that channel.
  • Success — how many were confirmed delivered.
  • Pending — how many are still in flight.
  • Failed — how many did not deliver.

This breakdown is the fastest way to tell whether a channel is having delivery problems before you scale up sending on it further.

Overall delivery rate

Across all channels, Mersal calculates an overall delivery-rate figure, shown as a donut chart on your dashboard. It's a quick health check at a glance — if the donut skews toward failure, that's your signal to open the per-channel breakdown and find which channel is dragging the average down. See Dashboard Overview for where this sits alongside your other KPI cards.

Account and billing logs

Beyond delivery, Reports keeps a full trail of account activity:

  • Subscription logs — history of your plan and subscription changes.
  • Transaction logs — a record of account activity tied to spending and crediting.
  • Payment logs — your payment history.
  • Affiliate logs — activity related to your affiliate balance.
  • Balance history per channel — SMS, Email, and WhatsApp each keep their own balance history, so you can see exactly how credit was consumed on a per-channel basis rather than only as one combined number.

If a gateway suddenly stops sending, checking that channel's balance history in Reports is often faster than debugging the gateway itself — a depleted balance is a common, easy-to-miss cause.
