Lead Generation
Google Maps Scraper and Website Scraper + Enrichment for building lead lists that feed into Contacts.
Instead of only working with contacts you already have, Mersal can help you build new lead lists directly from the web — then route them through review before they become real contacts.
Lead generation tools are available on eligible plans. If you don't see these tools in your account, check your current plan.
Google Maps Scraper
The Google Maps Scraper extracts business leads straight from Google Maps search results — names, contact details, and other listed business information for whatever search you run.
- Pagination handling — the scraper works through multiple pages of results automatically instead of stopping at the first page.
- Past Google's ~60-result display cap — Google Maps normally shows only around 60 results per search in its own interface. Mersal's scraper is built to work past that limit, pulling more results than you'd get scrolling manually.
- WhatsApp number extraction — where a business listing exposes a WhatsApp number, the scraper captures it, so leads are ready for WhatsApp outreach without manual lookup.
Mersal Maps (Chrome extension)
The Mersal Maps Chrome extension is the browser-based front end for Maps extraction — it runs alongside Google Maps in your browser so you can pull leads directly from searches you're already viewing. See Mersal Maps Chrome Extension for setup.
Website Scraper + Enrichment
Beyond Google Maps, the Website Scraper extracts lead data directly from websites, and the enrichment step fills in and improves that data — turning a bare URL or a partial listing into a fuller lead record.
From leads to contacts
Leads pulled in by either tool don't go straight into your sending list. They land in the Leads Hub first, where you review, normalize, and verify them before promoting them into regular Contacts. This keeps freshly scraped, unverified data separate from the contacts you actually message. See CRM & Contacts for how the Leads Hub works and how promoted leads get organized into groups.
